Virtual Technical Assistance Office Hours: BPHC Interprofessional Collaboration in Integrated Behavioral Health
Thursday, January 9, 2020 8:00:00 PM UTC - 9:30:00 PM UTC
This Virtual Technical Assistance (TA) Office Hours event, offered by the HRSA Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Technical Assistance (COE for BHTA), will explore the topic of interprofessional collaboration for BPHC-funded Health Center Programs and Look-Alikes. Office Hours are interactive virtual forums for sharing, questions, and discussion on a defined topic with a subject matter expert. This 90-minute event will feature Emma Ansara, a Family Nurse Practitioner and former Clinical Medical Director at a rural community health center. She will answer participant questions and discuss challenges and considerations on the integration of primary care and behavioral health for the care delivery team and its members. This event will be an opportunity for teams in the field to consider both formal and informal tools for evaluating and enhancing integration efforts. Registration is capped at 15 participants. If more than one person from your team would like to participate, please submit one registration and join the event as a team from the same room or location. If the registration limit of 15 is reached, please send an email to the HRSA Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Technical Assistance (COE for BHTA) at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your interest in the event. This will aid understanding of interest on this topic for future technical assistance opportunities. The HRSA COE for BHTA supports health centers to integrate substance use and mental health services in primary care settings.
